Marian De Gier is an Emily Carr University of Art & Design graduate. After several different creative career pursuits, she decided trying her hand at silversmithing and is loving it. When her first chickadee left the nest, she took over the room and transformed it into a home studio. When neighbours started wanting to buy her creations, she decided to give it a go, and Fire & Grace Silverworks was born.

Marian has been a designer, art director, and photographer at various design firms both in Vancouver, Canada, and the Netherlands. Her work has been published in both countries.
